Linda Kirby Little, 62, of Jackson died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 12, 1952, in Gideon, Missouri, to Ray and Hazel Kirby. She and Ben Little were married Aug. 19, 1995, at Marble Hill, Missouri.
Linda attended Edwardsville High School and SIU-Edwardsville in Edwardsville, Illinois. She was an inspector for Rubbermaid in Jackson and retired for health reasons. She liked flower gardening.
Survivors include her husband, Ben Little of Jackson; daughter, Tonya Hubbard of Doniphan, Missouri; stepson, Lance Little; stepdaughter, Brandi Little of Jackson; brother, Rick Buie of Portageville, Missouri; sisters, Judy (Tom) Blake of Wardell, Missouri, Sharon (Joe) Ricketts of Portageville and Terry (Randy) Ricketts of Kewanee, Missouri; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way.
She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Hazel and Roy Buie; father, Ray Kirby; and one brother, Paul Kirby.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Charlie Thacker officiating.
