Linda Jean Macon Bradley Kassinger Harter Donais, 73, of Scott City passed away Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at her home, with husband Paul and daughter Ninalynn at her side.
She was born March 12, 1940, in New Orleans to Eugene and Nina Lane Macon.
Linda leaves behind a loving husband, Paul Donais; children, Kenneth and Phillip Kassinger of Sugar Grove, Ill., Ninalynn Saindon of Colorado Springs, Colo., Timothy Kassinger of Chaffee, Mo., Teresa Givens of Joliet, Ill.; stepsons, Randy Donais of Sugar Grove, Ronnie Donais of Black River Falls, Wis., and Kenneth Donais of Tomah, Wis.; half sisters, Kathy (Bradley) Parson of Sugar Grove, Connie Matthews of Diamondhead, Miss., and Pat Genthon of Mandeville, La.; half brothers, Earl Bradley of Waco, Texas, and Lonnie Macon of Slidell, La.; 26 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene V. Macon; mother, Nina Lane Macon Bradley; stepfather, Jerome Bradley; a half sister, Terry L. Macon; and a stepdaughter, Nadine Donais.
Linda lived life to the fullest, enjoying her husband Paul through many adventures and cherished each of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Among her many hobbies, she enjoyed crocheting, bowling, bingo, dancing, traveling all over the United States, playing Euchre and Yahtzee when not visiting with her large family.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until service time Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Ed Stoner officiating.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Linda's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
