Linda Kay Bergstrom, 76, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024, at her home.
She was born Feb. 16, 1948, in Cape Girardeau to Bill and Vivian Meyer McLain.
She and David Bergstrom were married Nov. 1, 1980, in Cape Girardeau.
Linda was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary No. 3775.
She liked to go catfishing and watch hummingbirds and loved her grandchildren.
She was a member of First Assembly of God in Scott City.
Survivors include her husband, David Bergstrom of Cape Girardeau; son, Stephen Kain of Jackson; three daughters, Ashley (Jamie) Seabaugh of Jackson and Teresa (Jeff) Power and Michelle (Kenny) Turley, both of St. Louis; sister, Ladonna Kirn of Cape Girardeau; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; son, David Bergstrom Jr.; and a brother, Larry McLain.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26, at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Morris officiating. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
