Lilly Jolie Berry, 7, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born March 23, 2010, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Jobi L. and Stella Wells Berry.
Lilly was looking forward to being a second-grader at Orchard Elementary School in Jackson.
She enjoyed almost everything other 7-year-old girls like to do: playing softball; dancing; riding her bike; being outside; singing; writing (she had actually started a book); and spending time with her family. Lilly made friends easily and had an endearing spirit. She was a generous little gal, twice donating her beautiful red hair within the past three years.
Loving survivors include her parents, Jobi and Stella Berry of Jackson; a brother, Joshua, and a sister, Riley, both of Jackson; paternal grandparents, Beverly (David) Felter of Benton, Missouri, and Donald Berry of Greenfield, Missouri; maternal grandmother, Sylvia (the late James) Crader of Grassy, Missouri; and paternal great-grandmother, Madolyn Hahn of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
The visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Chapel A of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Cape County Cowboy Church in Oak Ridge, with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating.
The family suggests contributions be made to Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, St. Jude Children's Researcg Hospital, Jackson R-2 School Foundation or Jackson Girls Softball League.
