COMMERCE, Mo. -- Lillie M. Allen Pearson, 77, of Commerce died Friday, May 25, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 23, 1923, at Commerce, daughter of Dave and Lillie Scott Allen. She and Woodrow Pearson were married Aug. 21, 1943.
Survivors include her husband; six sons, Lonnie Pearson of Cape Girardeau, Jimmy Pearson of Goose Creek, S.C., Terry Pearson of Cincinnati, Ohio, Kenny Pearson of Kansas City, Mo., Robert Pearson of Sikeston, Mo., and Larry Pearson of Baton Rouge, La.; five daughters, Barbara Blissett of Bowling Green, Ky., Joyce Pearson, Beverly K. Pearson and Linda K. Williamson, all of Sikeston, and Evelyn Brown of Shipman, Ill.; two sisters, Lolline Daniels of Cape Girardeau and Anita Smith of St. Louis; 37 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at St. James AME Church in Cape Girardeau from 11 a.m. until the funeral service today .
The funeral will be at noon today at the church. The Rev. David Allen will officiate, with burial following in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
