LILLIE M. IRBY

EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral service for Lillie May Irby of East Prairie will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Stanley Triplett will officiate, with burial in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Irby, 84, died Monday, Jan. 15, 1996, at East Prairie Nursing Center.

She was born Feb. 10, 1911, in Sikeston, daughter of Clyde and Minnie Fleming Jones. She and James Milam Irby were married Sept 23, 1932.

Irby retired as a seamstress with Prairie Manufacturing Co. She was a member of St. James General Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, J.C. Irby of East Prairie; two sisters, Iva Marshall and Hazel Brown of East Prairie; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, brother and sister.
