Lillian Gluckhertz

Lillian M. Gluckhertz, 90, passed away Monday, Nov. 11, 2002, at her home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 29, 1912, daughter of Wilbur H. and Sarah Louise Hills Lamar. She and Harry W. Gluckhertz were married Dec. 13, 1930. He passed away Nov. 10, 1985.

Mrs. Gluckhertz was a member of First General Baptist Church, joining the first week the church was organized; a past Sunday school teacher; member of Women's Missions of the church; and past member of Eastern Star.

Surviving are two daughters and their spouses, Barbara Louise and Farris Wallace, Laura and Raymond Moore, and a stepdaughter, Dru and Paul Kuntze.

She leaves eight grandchildren, John and Sue Mohorc, Patty Langston, Cynthia and Keith Robertson, Farris Dale and Eileen Wallace, Lisa and Gary Helle, LaRae and Mike Leimer, Alan and Doris Moore, Brent and Maria Moore; two stepgrandchildren, Rick and Joyce Kuntze, Scott and Robin Peavier; 21 great-grandchildren; two great-stepgrandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; four brothers, Roy, Jesse, Carl and John; two sons, Harry Jr., Charles; two great-granddaughters, Mary Katherine and Erin Elizabeth Robertson; and a stepgrandson, Randy Kuntze.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at First General Baptist Church, with the Rev. Sam Ramdial officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
