SIKESTON -- Lillian F. Martin, 81, of Sikeston, died Monday, June 17, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born June 20, 1909, in Piggott, Ark., daughter of James Edward and Gertie Mae Holt Babb. She married Emory O. Martin July 5, 1927, at Bloomfield.
Martin had been a cook at Sikeston Country Club, and at the War Drum and Rustic Rock Restaurants here. She was a member of Beulahland Fellowship General Baptist Church at Blodgett.
Survivors include her husband; a son, the Rev. James Martin of Sikeston; two daughters, Alma Thompson and Floetta Parks of Sikeston; three sisters, Erma Manion of St. Louis, Stelene Carroll and Pauline Ross of Sikeston; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and a grandson.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. James Martin will officiate, with burial in Bluff Cemetery at Idalia.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
