NORRIS CITY, Ill. -- Lillian C. Curtner, 79, of Norris City and formerly of Campbell, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 1996, at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado, Ill.
She was born Oct. 31, 1916, at Matthews to Charles Herbert and Susie Bell Morris Counsil. On June 24, 1940, at Sikeston she married Joseph Hilan Curtner, who died March 1, 1964.
She was a nurse's assistant for several years for Shuffit Nursing Homes in Sikeston. She was a former member of the United Pentecostal Church in Sikeston.
Survivors are a son, Clarence H. "Sonny" Curtner of Campbell; two daughters, Sue Dismuke of Norris City and Faye Bowden of Broken Arrow, Okla.; a sister, Opal Sipes of Birmingham, Ala.; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Amos Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
