Lillian Basile

Lillian Martha Basile, 89, of Scott City died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005, at Ozark Riverview Manor in Ozark, Mo.

She was born Aug. 27, 1915, at Fornfelt, Mo., daughter of Emil and Meta Westerhold Eifert. She and Frank Basile were married July 15, 1953. He died Feb. 21, 1982.

Basile had been a seamstress at Mattress Co. in St. Louis. She was a member of Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Eisleben Church from 9 a.m. Friday until time of service.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. Bob Azinger officiating. Burial will be in Eisleben Cemetery.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
