SIKESTON -- Lillian Beatrice Cox, 85, of Sacramento, Calif., formerly of Sikeston, died Friday, June 25, 1993, at her residence.

She was born March 8, 1908, at Hough, Mo., daughter of Homer and Leona Widdows Henson.

She married Willie Theodore Cox. He died Jan. 5, 1945.

Cox was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Rio Linda, Calif.

Survivors include two sons, Phillip Cox and Dwight Cox, both of Sacramento, Calif.; two daughters, Mary Bostic and Frances Bostic, both of Bloomfield, Mo.; four sisters, Gladys Baker of Sikeston, Elsie Lively of Matthews, Mo., Delphia Higdon of Sikeston, Nina Pennington of Bloomfield, Mo.; 17 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons and two sisters.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Nunelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Nunelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, with the Rev. Bill Pennington officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
