DOE RUN -- Lillian Alice Wichman, 85, of Doe Run, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 1994, at the home of a son here. She was born July 31, 1908, in Elvins, daughter of Wilson and Myrtle Casey Bell. DOE RUN -- Lillian Alice Wichman, 85, of Doe Run, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 1994, at the home of a son here.

She was born July 31, 1908, in Elvins, daughter of Wilson and Myrtle Casey Bell. She and Curtis Wichman were married in 1933.

Wichman taught 43 years in St. Francois County schools. She was a member of Doe Run United Methodist Church, and Retired Teachers Association.

Survivors include a daughter, Alice Johnson of Farmington; a son, Charles Wichman of Doe Run; two sisters, Lucille Kassabaum of Farmington, Jean Bell Mosley of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and an infant brother.

Burial was in Hillview Memorial Gardens at Farmington.
