Lila Waters, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Aug. 8, 2005, at Fountainbleau Lodge.
She was born Feb. 22, 1919, in Gainesville, Ark., daughter of Albert and Annie Spain. She and Kermit Waters were married Sept. 12, 1957, in Paragould, Ark.
Waters was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Survivors include three nieces, Mary Rollins and Imogene McMackins of Cape Girardeau, Linda Frintz of Florissant, Mo.; six nephews, Philip Spain of St. Ann, Mo., Larry Spain of Florissant, Jimmy Spain of Bridgeton, Mo., Elvis Cole of St. Louis, Wendell Eubanks of Piggott, Ark., and Wayne Eubanks of Jackson, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and two sisters.
There is no visitation.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Epsaba Cemetery near Paragould. The Rev. Shawn Wasson will officiate.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
