SIKESTON, Mo. -- Lila Mae Porter, 73, of Sikeston died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003, at her home.

She was born in the Tanner community near Sikeston on Sept. 1, 1929, the daughter of Ernest and Bielor Atnip Gray. She married Floyd Porter II. He preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sisters, Maxine Martin of Festus, Mo., Virginia Blumenberg of Whitewater, Mo., and Pat Malugen of Fenton, Mo.

She was preceded in death by a son and two sisters.

Her body was cremated. No services are planned. Nunnelee Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
