Lewis W. "Dub" Bailey, 76, of 1908 Weissinger Ln. died Monday, Feb. 6, 1995, at his home.

He was born Oct. 5, 1918, at Higgenson, Ark., the son of Thomas B. and Rena Croutts Bailey. On April 25, 1947, he married Agnes Roberts, who survives of the home.

He was a jeweler and watchmaker at Moffet's Jewelers in Van Nuys, Calif., for 35 years and for several years at Jackert's Jewelry in North Little Rock, Ark. He was an Army veteran of World War II, and he attended Bethel Assembly of God Church in Cape Girardeau.

Other survivors include two daughters, Jo-Anne Farless and Barbara Eilers, both of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, John B. Bailey of Spencer, Ind., and O'Neal Bailey of North Little Rock; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau and from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy, Ark., where funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Bald Knob, Ark.
