ANNA, Ill. -- Lewis McDaniel, 73, of Tulsa, Okla., formerly of Anna, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 1992, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.
He was born Dec. 27, 1918, in Tamms, son of Lewis F. and Margaret Brown McDaniel. He and Inas Carlton were married Nov. 10, 1945. She died Sept. 25, 1980.
McDaniel was a member of First Baptist Church in Jonesboro, and veteran of World War II.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Dangerfield and Charlotte Terry of Tulsa, Cathy Fox of Bixby, Okla.; two brothers, Loren McDaniel of Sycamore, Ill., Gordon McDaniel of Byron; two sisters, Susan Jacox of Sycamore, Loeta Emery of Byron, and six grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Jonesboro. The Rev. Ralph Buckley will officiate, with burial in Jonesboro Cemetery.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna after 6 p.m. Saturday, and on Sunday until service time.
