MINER, Mo.--Leta Mae Scott Bailey, 70, of Miner, formerly of Wyatt died Friday, June 24, 2005, at her residence. She was born Sept. 21, 1934, in Piggott, Ark., daughter of Robert and Zora Mongomery White. She and Fred Bailey were married. He died...

MINER, Mo.--Leta Mae Scott Bailey, 70, of Miner, formerly of Wyatt died Friday, June 24, 2005, at her residence.

She was born Sept. 21, 1934, in Piggott, Ark., daughter of Robert and Zora Mongomery White. She and Fred Bailey were married. He died.

Bailey lived most of her life in Mississippi County, where she and her husband owned and operated the Wyatt Junction Restaurant. She was a member of the Elm Street Baptist Church in Charleston.

Survivors include three sons, Bobby Everett of Clarkton, Thomas Everett of Taylor, Michigan, Dennis Everett of Wyatt, Mo.; two daughters, Teresa Powers of Olmstead, Ill., La Donna Robertson of Charleston; a sister, Betty Askew of Malden; 16 grandchildren; a great grandchild.

She was prededed in death by her first husband, Chester Scott, a son, a brother, a grandson, two great-granchildren.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today, at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Shelby Chapel with Bro. Jon Archie officiating.

Burial will follow in the East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie is in charge of the arrangements.
