PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Lester G. "Les" Rousseau, 84, of Perryville died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2003, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He was born Dec. 13, 1918, in Perry County, Mo., son of Frank A. and Henrietta M. Klump Rousseau. Rousseau retired from the Lincoln-Mercury Division of Ford Motor Co. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, VFW Post 4282, American Legion Post 133, Amvets, Perryville Elks Lodge, and was a 3rd Degree member of Knights of Columbus...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Lester G. "Les" Rousseau, 84, of Perryville died Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2003, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Dec. 13, 1918, in Perry County, Mo., son of Frank A. and Henrietta M. Klump Rousseau.

Rousseau retired from the Lincoln-Mercury Division of Ford Motor Co. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, VFW Post 4282, American Legion Post 133, Amvets, Perryville Elks Lodge, and was a 3rd Degree member of Knights of Columbus.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include two brothers, Robert "Bob" and Merlin Rousseau of Perryville; three sisters, Marie Rousseau of Perryville, Helen Morgan of Washington, Mo., and Dorothy Genco of Staten Island, N.Y.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30 to 11:20 a.m. A VFW service will be held at 6:45 p.m. today, parish wake service with Knights of Columbus at 7, followed by an Elks service.

Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, with military honors by American Legion Post 133.
