SCOTT CITY -- Hulin "Lester" Martin, 91, of rural Scott City died Saturday, Dec. 3, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 19, 1903, in Paris, Tenn., the son of James and Ida Wright Martin. On Dec. 2, 1928, he married Emma Miriam Goddard in St. Louis. She survives of the home.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Illmo Baptist Church in Scott City.
Other survivors include a daughter, Liana Partin of Scott City, and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, where funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Leland Holland will officiate, and burial will be in the Oakdale Cemetery in Commerce.
