Lester Louis Hahn, 90, of San Bernardino, Calif., died Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, in San Bernardino.

He was born March 28, 1921, at Leopold, Mo., to Charles and Carrie Hahn. He and Delpha Hunsacker were married in 1949 in Cape Girardeau.

Hahn served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

On return visits home after moving to California, he loved going to shooting matches. He had a good gun and loved winning meat for his family.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Louis Hahn of San Bernardino, Ricky Lynn Hahn of Reno, Nev.; a daughter, Saundra Kaye Guerra of San Bernardino; two stepsons, Everette Gordon Shackles of Carson City, Nev., Terry Lee Shackles of Cape Girardeau; two stepdaughters, Shirley Followell of Cape Girardeau, Glenda Faye Young of Jackson; a sister, Norma Jean Packett of Cape Girardeau; 15 grandchildren, Sherri, Tara, Jerry Don Followell Jr., Debra, Vicki, Connie, Jennifer, Robbie, Rory, Ryan, Amy, Brian, Breanna, Emily and Erika; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a brother, two sisters and a stepdaughter, Delpha LaDon Geary.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. to service time Friday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
