Perryville, Mo. -- Leslie Lee (Spider) Schindler, 52, of Perryville died Saturday, July 8, 2000, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Feb. 12, 1948, in Perry County, son of Leslie Jiles and Iva Lee Elder Schindler. He and Erline Duvall were married Jan. 17, 1970, at Perryville.
Schindler was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church at Sereno. He was a self-employed mechanic and auto body repairman.
Survivors include his wife and mother, both of Perryville; a daughter, Lisa (Scott) Westercamp of Chillicothe, Ill.; two sons, Donald Schindler of Los Angeles, Calif., and Craig Schindler of Perryville; two sisters, Mary Ann Jennings of Biehle and Patricia Platter of Littleton, Colo.; and two brothers, James Schindler and Dale Schindler, both of Perryville.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Miller Family Funeral Home at Perryville. A parish wake service will be at 7 p.m. today. The Rosary will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Victory Parish at Sereno, with the Rev. Francis Agnew officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery at Perryville.
