PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Leslie J. Gremaud, 84, formerly of Perryville, died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2003, at Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Oct. 12, 1918, in St. Louis, son of Albert T. and Mae Boxdorfer Gremaud. He married Lorna D. Nocker.
Gremaud was a retired machinist from General Motors.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, was a prisoner of war in Germany, and was awarded four Bronze Stars and a Good Conduct Medal.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Gail Geders of Florissant, Mo., Rita Quick of Perryville; a brother, Robert Gremaud of Marthasville, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Miller Family Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Chamness officiating. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery at Lithium, Mo., with military honors by American Legion Post 133.
