Leroy McCauley, 61, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born May 13, 1952, in Sikeston, Mo., to the late Emory and Katie Geralds McCauley Sr. He married the former Jo Ann Ware.
McCauley was a founding member of House of Prayer World Outreach Center in Cape Girardeau. He was currently an assistant pastor. He was a member of Pipefitters Local 562.
Survivors include two sons, Leroy McCauley Jr. of St. Louis and Markquel Scott of Kennett, Mo.; two daughters, LaTanya Thomas-Martin of Dallas and Sommer McCauley of Cape Girardeau; four brothers, Elder Moses Grayson of Essex, Mo., Joe Louis McCauley of Pontiac, Mich., Emory McCauley Jr. of Sikeston and David McCauley of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; three sisters, Elizabeth Harrington of Sikeston, Dorothy Jefferson of St. Louis and Mary Ann Blissett of Morley, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at Greater Dimensions Ministries, 723 Hackberry.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Interment will be in New Lorimier Cemetery.
Williams Funeral Home of Charleston, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
