GRASSY -- Leroy Hovis, 72, of Grassy, died Wednesday, June 26, 1996, at Chaffee Nursing Center.
He was born March 1, 1924, at Flat River, son of Charles and Della Robins Hovis.
Survivors include two sisters, Velma Frymire of Grassy and Lorene Phillips of Zalma.

He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill Friday from 10 a.m. to service time.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Grassy Cemetery.
