MARBLE HILL -- Leroy E. Haupt, 74, of St. Louis, died Friday, July 29, 1994, at St. Anthony's Medical Center.

He was born in Bollinger County, son of Charles and Beulah Haupt. He attended elementary school in Bollinger County, and Jackson High School. He married the former Helen Jones.

Haupt owned and operated Leroy's Gift Shop and Printing Co., which became Winslow Distributing Co. He retired in 1979 and he and his wife moved to Arizona. They returned to St. Louis a few weeks ago.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Randy Haupt of St. Louis; a daughter, Joy Stewart of Dallas; a brother, Joe Haupt of Anaheim, Calif.; a sister, Grace Bittner of Des Moines, Iowa, and three grandchildren.

Kutis Funeral Home in Affton is in charge of private arrangements.
