Leonora Ella Luckmann, 92, of Cape Girardeau, died Tuesday, May 9, 1995, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born April 2, 1903, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Theodore and Bertha Ochs. She and William A. Luckmann were married April 12, 1924. He died in 1966.

Luckmann was a 1921 graduate of Central High School, and attended Southeast Missouri State University.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Ladies Junior aid, Altar Guild, Trinity Guild, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and Lutheran Home Auxiliary.

Luckmann had done volunteer work with Girl Scouts, American Red Cross, Southeast Missouri Hospital, Cape County Historical Society, and was a volunteer at the Lutheran Home the past 22 years.

Survivors include a son, William Luckmann of Champaign, Ill.; a sister, Laura Beggs of Jackson; a brother, Henry Ochs of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel from 4-6 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Church, with the Revs. David Dissen and Steven MacDougall and Vicar David Reedy officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
