Leonard W. Holman, 64, of Columbia, Ill., formerly of Egypt Mills, died Wednesday, Oct. 26, 1994, at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Nov. 30, 1929, at Hamburg, Iowa, the son of Oscar and Leta Lackenby Holman.
He married Patricia Ann Dyke May 17, 1953. She survives.
He was a retired dredging supervisor for Luhr Brother's Construction Co. in Columbia, Ill., for 18 years.
He was a member of the Hamburg Blue Lodge, AF&AM, Hamburg, Iowa, and the Shriner's Consistory at Little Rock, Ark.
Other survivors are one son, Leonard W. Homan Jr., Columbia, Ill.; two daughters, Christine Simmons, Cape Girardeau, and Jackqueline Holman, Columbia, Ill.; one brother, Donald Holman, Plattsmouth, Neb.; two sisters, Ruth Briley and Helen Courtney, both of Hamburg, Iowa; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today at Lawlor-Mueller Chapel in Columbia, Ill., or on Friday beginning at 9 a.m. at the Bethany United Methodist Church here where service will be at 11 a.m. The Rev. Ron Chase will officiate.
Burial will be in Hobbs Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery near Cape Girardeau.
