DEXTER, Mo. -- Leonard Dean Frymire, 63, of Dexter passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at home, surrounded by his family.
Leonard was born Nov. 20, 1956, to Dempsey Noah and Flora Mae Blocker Frymire in Turkey Creek, Missouri.
His joys were playing music with his son and close friends, and cooking with his daughter. Leonard loved fishing and being outdoors clearing land and enjoying nature.
On Nov. 7, 1975, he married Beverly Sue Belcher at Calvary Baptist Church.
After they were united in marriage, Leonard held many jobs, everything from meat cutter, to fabricator, to machinist, to musician. He loved building a home with his wife of 46 years. They worked side by side on every project. They grew and taught each other a lot of love over the course of their marriage.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Sue Belcher Frymire; children, Melissa Sue Frymire and Michael Dean Frymire, both of Dexter; brothers, Jimmy (Charlene) Frymire and Steven (Holly) Frymire of Wappapello, Missouri; sister, Kay Frymire Gant of Essex, Missouri; and many nieces, nephews and friends who will mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dempsey and Flora Frymire; sisters, Freda Mae McAnally, Veda Mae Adams and Lena Mae Patterson; and brother, Junior Frymire.
A celebration of Leonard's life will be held at a later date.
