PERRYVILLE -- Leonard Ernst Yamnitz, 83, died March 16, 1992, at Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville. He was born Dec. 24, 1909, in Perry County, son of Henry T. Yamnitz and Henrietta Hennecke Yamnitz. On Nov. 9, 1933, he married Violet A. Unterriner. She preceded him in death on Jan. 15, 1992...

PERRYVILLE -- Leonard Ernst Yamnitz, 83, died March 16, 1992, at Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville.

He was born Dec. 24, 1909, in Perry County, son of Henry T. Yamnitz and Henrietta Hennecke Yamnitz.

On Nov. 9, 1933, he married Violet A. Unterriner. She preceded him in death on Jan. 15, 1992.

Yamnitz was a farmer.

Survivors include a daughter, Margie Leine, of Daisy, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a half-brother.

Friends may call at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville from 4 to 9 p.m. today, with a wake service at 7 p.m.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Sam Mages officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery at Perryville.
