Friends may call at Young & Son Funeral Chapel after 4 p.m. today and until 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. A wake service will be held at the funeral home at 7 p.m. today.

Moore, 86 years old, of Perryville, died Sunday, April 14, 1991, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville.

He was born Feb. 23, 1905, in Perry County, son of Felix E. and Sarah Tucker Moore.

He was married to Edith M. Nienhaus on Aug. 2, 1927. She survives.

Other survivors include sons, Eldon J. Moore and John E. Moore, both of Perryville, Thomas L. Moore of Gladstone, Mo., James F. Moore of Maryland Heights, Mo., and Gene R. Moore of Bloomington, Ill.; daughters, Shirley M. Schleper of Alton, Ill., and Mary E. Parrs of Lake St. Louis, Mo.; two sisters, Lucille Ernst and Gladys Ernst, both of Perryville; 17 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.

He was a dairy farmer. He was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer, and was a member of Knights of Columbus, Council 1263 and Holy Name Society.
