ANNA, Ill. -- Leona Agnes Miller, 83, of Anna, formerly of Ullin, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 1998, at City Care Center in Anna. She was born Aug. 3, 1915, in Ullin, daughter of Walter and Ethel Barnhart Miller. She married Clyde "Hammer" Miller on Dec. 23, 1934, in Cairo. He died Oct. 6, 1970...

ANNA, Ill. -- Leona Agnes Miller, 83, of Anna, formerly of Ullin, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 1998, at City Care Center in Anna.

She was born Aug. 3, 1915, in Ullin, daughter of Walter and Ethel Barnhart Miller.

She married Clyde "Hammer" Miller on Dec. 23, 1934, in Cairo. He died Oct. 6, 1970.

She was a member of the Crossroads Methodist Church in Ullin and attended the Anna Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by a daughter, Betty Seals of Cobden; a sister, Iris Mowery of Fenton; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and an infant great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Lutz and Rendleman Fuenral Home in Anna. Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Ralph Lee and Garnett Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
