PERRYVILLE -- Leona M. Kiefer, 73, of Perryville, died Tuesday, May 23, 1995, at Perry County Nursing Home. She was born Feb. 26, 1922, in Perry County, daughter of William and Anna Moonier Kiefer. PERRYVILLE -- Leona M. Kiefer, 73, of Perryville, died Tuesday, May 23, 1995, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Feb. 26, 1922, in Perry County, daughter of William and Anna Moonier Kiefer.

Kiefer was retired from International Shoe Co. She was a member of Daughters of Isabella, Ladies Sodality, and Western Catholic Union.

Survivors include two brothers, Wallace Kiefer of Perryville and William Kiefer of St. Louis.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Thursday, and 6:30-8:50 a.m. Friday. A wake, Daughters of Isabella and Ladies Sodality service will be held at 7. The rosary will be at 8:20 a.m. Friday.

Funeral mass will be at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Phillip Floersh officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
