PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Leona A. Huber, 95, of Perryville died Monday, Feb. 1, 2010, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born Oct. 15, 1914, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Oscar W. and Helen Meyer Dambach. She and Albert W. Huber were married Oct. 18, 1932. He preceded her in death Nov. 12, 1995...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Leona A. Huber, 95, of Perryville died Monday, Feb. 1, 2010, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Oct. 15, 1914, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Oscar W. and Helen Meyer Dambach. She and Albert W. Huber were married Oct. 18, 1932. He preceded her in death Nov. 12, 1995.

Mrs. Huber was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church and its United Methodist Women.

Survivors include two sons, Walter Huber of Springfield, Mo., Cletus Huber of Perryville; a daughter, Dorothy (William) Brooks of Cape Girardeau; five sisters, Florence Drum of St. Mary, Mo., Lillian Brune of Perryville, Dorothy (Marvin) Oberndorfer of St. Louis, Frances (Harvey) Krauss of Perryville and Mary Haertling of McMinnville, Ore.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Raymond Huber; two brothers, Ralph and Elliot Dambach.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 6:30 a.m. to service time Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Anthony Stewart officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.

Memorial preference to American Heart Association.
