LEONA DANNENMUELLER

BENTON -- Leona Caroline Dannenmueller, 88, of Benton died Wednesday, April 30, 1997, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 3, 1908, at New Hamburg, daughter of William and Lucia Grojean LeGrand. She and Theon Dannenmueller were married Oct. 16, 1928. He died Aug. 5, 1990.

Dannenmueller was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church.

Survivors include three brothers, Gilbert LeGrand of Benton, Billy LeGrand of Cape Girardeau, Emil LeGrand of Sikeston; three sisters, Bert LeGrand and Ginny Glaus of Benton, Dorothy Hipes of Clarksville; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers, and two sisters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton after 4 p.m. today. The rosary will be recited at 7.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Denis Church, with the Rev. Normand Varone officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
