COBDEN, Ill. -- Leona Elizabeth Brumleve, 64, of Cobden died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 1996, at her home.
She was born Aug. 7, 1932, at Laflin, daughter of Leo and Wilhelmina Nenninger Holzum. She and Harold A. Brumleve were married Jan. 19, 1957, at Leopold.
Brumleve was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and its St. Ann's Altar Sodality.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Kevin, Kenneth and Daniel Brumleve of Cobden; a daughter, Barbara Guebert of Herrin; five sisters, Dorothy Arnzen and Mary Jansen of Leopold, Mo., Helen Whealen of Florissant, Mo., Wilma Abernathy of Belleville, Sister Leah Holzum of St. Louis; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden after 6 p.m. today. The wake will be at 8.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Church, with the Rev. Federico Higuera officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
