STURDIVANT -- Leon M. Lewis, 78, of Sturdivant, died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 12, 1917, at Brownwood, son of W.R. "Bug" and Della Deck Lewis.
Lewis was employed at Kroger Co. in St. Louis 33 years, retiring as stock foreman. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
Survivors include a brother, Leland Lewis of Sturdivant, and a sister, Nellie Liley of Advance.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5:30-9 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ray Placher officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
