UNIONTOWN -- Leola Franke, 82, of Uniontown died Thursday, Sept. 18, 1997, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born July 15, 1915, in Perry County, daughter of Charles and Martha Lueders Kassel. She and Albert Franke were married Oct. 12, 1934. He died July 10, 1962...
UNIONTOWN -- Leola Franke, 82, of Uniontown died Thursday, Sept. 18, 1997, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 15, 1915, in Perry County, daughter of Charles and Martha Lueders Kassel. She and Albert Franke were married Oct. 12, 1934. He died July 10, 1962.
Franke was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, its Ladies Aid, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, and choir.

Survivors include three sons, George Franke of Frankfort, Ky., Charles Franke of Uniontown, Alvin Franke of Jackson; a sister, Irene Brandes of Jackson; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Sunday from 6:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Grace Church, with the Rev. Paul Winningham officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
