NEW WELLS -- Leo E. Reisenbichler, 99, formerly of New Wells, died Friday, July 11, 1997, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 11, 1897, at New Wells, son of August and Christina Lindner Reisenbichler. He and Alma Boehme were married Oct. 29, 1922. She died Aug. 23, 1993.
Reisenbichler had farmed in the New Wells area, and was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a son, Ruben Reisenbichler of Bend, Ore.; two daughters, Florence Westermann of Fishers, Ind., Corrine Anderson of Staunton, Ill.; a sister, Rose Weber of Chillicothe; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons and a sister.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Immanuel Church, with the Rev. Walter Patzwitz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the church after 1 p.m. Sunday.
