Leo Danz

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Leo E. Danz, 90, of Perryville died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2002, at Independence Court in Perryville.

He was born Nov. 29, 1912, in Perry County, Mo., son of Theodore and Julia Dambach Danz. He and Bernice A. Cissell were married Aug. 22, 1942, at Perryville.

Danz had worked at International Shoe Co. He was a musician and played throughout the area many years. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and was an American Legion booster.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Terry Danz of Perryville, Richard Danz of Eureka, Mo.; and two granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. today, and after 9 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Church, with the Rev. Craig Otto officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
