CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Lenora Hemphill, 80, of Charleston died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.
She was born March 12, 1920, in Charleston, daughter of Anderson and Lydia Miller Fulks.
Hemphill was a member of Opportunity Church of God in Christ and served on the ushers board.
Survivors include two daughters, Florence Robinson of Charleston, Frances Williams of Cape Girardeau; four sons, Richard Hemphill of Charleston, David and Ray Hemphill of Milwaukee, Wis., Jeffrey Hemphill of Albuquerque, N.M.; 31 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Opportunity Church after 11 a.m. Saturday.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, with Elder Steve Betts officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
