EAST PRAIRIE -- Minnie M. Boswell, 67, of East Prairie, died Monday, July 31, 1995, at Miner Nursing Center, following an extended illness.
She was born Dec. 8, 1927, at Bruceton, Tenn., daughter of Ernest and Mary Greer Prince. She and Homer Wyatt Boswell were married April 12, 1946. He died Nov. 13, 1990.
Boswell had lived in Mississippi County most of her life. She attended Victory Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Randy Boswell of East Prairie; two brothers, Tommy Prince of Immokalee, Fla., Hershel Prince of LaBelle, Fla.; two sisters, Imogene Boyer of Cape Girardeau, Geneva Smith of East Prairie, and two grandsons.
She was preceded in death by a grandson.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard Farquhar officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
LENORA E. HAMILTON
JONESBORO, Ill. -- Lenora E. "Babe" Hamilton, 86, of Jonesboro, died Monday, July 31, 1995, at her home.
She was born Dec. 31, 1908, in Union County, daughter of Ora N. and Cora Agnes Turnish Williams.
Formerly of Cobden, she was a member of Limestone Baptist Church there.
Survivors include three daughters, Earline Smith of Anna, Diane Upchurch of Walnut Ridge, Ark., Ilene Woods of Jonesboro; a son, Douglas Hamilton; a sister, Julia Dean of Cobden; three grandsons, and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, 10 brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Alto Pass Cemetery, with the Rev. Herbert Wilson officiating.
