SIKESTON -- Lenn Allen Parks, 58, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 1996, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
He was born Dec. 17, 1937, in Sikeston, son of Henry Arthur and Gladys T. Williams Parks. He and Floetta J. Martin were married July 8, 1961, in Sikeston.
Parks worked most recently at Mid-Town Motors. He also had been a truck driver for Hedrick Concrete and for Malone and Hyde. He attended Beulahland Fellowship Baptist Church, and was a life member of Disabled American Veterans at Dexter.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Missouri National Guard.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Master Sgt. Tony Martin of Little Rock, Ark., Jamie Parks of the home; two daughters, Laura Cervantes of Rancho Cordova, Calif., Floetta Lemons of Delta; a brother, Glen Parks of Morley; a sister, Deloma Pace of Benton; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Revs. James Martin and Troy Boshears officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
