SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Lena Mae Marshall, 94, of Scott City, formerly of Crowder, Mo., died Tuesday, July 10, 2001, at Heartland Care Rehab Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 17, 1906, in the state of Texas, daughter of Wesley and Alice Cooper. She first married William Russell Foster in 1931. He died in September 1954. She and Sterling E. "Mutt" Marshall were married in 1963. He died June 30, 1987.
Mrs. Marshall was a housewife, and of the Church of Christ belief.
Survivors include a son, Earl Foster of Scott City; a daughter-in-law, Earline Foster Uhrhan of Scott City; a sister, Ruth Parks of Bloomfield, Mo.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, four brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, Mo. The Rev. Rennie Phillips, pastor of New Life Congregational Methodist Church in Scott City, will officiate. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Scott Foster, Josh Foster, Wesley Foster, Doug Kuehnert, Steve Finley and Tom Finley.
