LENA INMAN

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Funeral for Lena Kathryn "Katie" Inman of Jonesboro will be held at 1 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, Ill. The Revs. Joe Aldridge and Gene Hart will officiate. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home until time of service.

Inman, 81, died Sunday, June 17, 2001, at City Care Center in Anna.

She was born March 9, 1920, in Cobden, Ill., daughter of William T. and Zelma M. Clutts Coonce. She and Pearl J. "P.J." Inman were married Oct. 8, 1938. He died March 15, 1980.

Inman was a switchboard operator at the former Anna State Hospital. She retired from Anna Mental Health Center, where she worked 20 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Jonesboro.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy Inman of Jonesboro, Jane Garner of California; a brother, Gerald Coonce of Jonesboro; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, two brothers, and a sister.
