CAIRO, Ill. -- Lena Bernell Bevill, 89, of Cairo died March 25, 1995, in East Prairie.
She was born April 23, 1905, in Oscar, Ky., to William Thomas Mason and Maude E. (Thomas) Mason.
She was a secretary for Singer Sewing Manufacturing.
She was a member of the Tigert Memorial Methodist Church in Cairo and the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include grandsons Mark, Mike and Grant Bevill of Roselle, Ill., and Jerry Oller of Nashville, Tenn.; and a half-sister, Juanita Haselwood of Jackson, Mich.
She also is survived by several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Max G. Bevill, who died in 1982, and her children, Ruth Oller and Richard Bevill.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Beechwood Cemetery in Mounds, Ill. There will be no visitation.
Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo is in charge of arrangements.
