ULLIN, Ill. -- Leland McIntosh, 78, of Ullin, died Thursday, April 25, 1996, at his home.
He was born Sept. 20, 1917, in Dongola, Ill., son of Arthur and Mary Arminda Lingle McIntosh. He married Gail Schluter on June 29, 1940.
McIntosh was a member of the Beech Grove United Methodist Church and was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Carolyn Theis of Millstadt, Ill., and Cheryl McIntosh of Bloomington, Ill.; a son, Bob McIntosh of Pulaski, Ill.; a sister, Irene Acuff of Dongola; a brother, Arthur McIntosh of East Alton, Ill.; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today at the Crain Funeral Home in Ullin.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Sue Miller officiating. Burial will follow in American Legion Cemetery in Ullin.
