ADVANCE, Mo. — Leland James Lewis, 88, of Advance died Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008, at Advance Nursing Center.
He was born March 31, 1920, at Leora, Mo., son of William "Bug" and Mary Della Deck Lewis.
Lewis had worked at Goodyear Tire in Memphis, Tenn., Alton Steele in Alton, Ill., and Mount Vernon Sanatorium Hospital in Mount Vernon, Mo.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three half sisters, a half brother and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to service time today at Morgan Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
