PATTON -- Lee Daniel McMichael, 73, of Patton died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville.
He was born Oct. 15, 1926, at Hamburg, Mich., son of Harvey and Leah Josephine Moore McMichael. He and Pauline Tallent were married Nov. 3, 1951, at Brighton, Mich.
He was a heavy equipment operator for Barrett-Gooding Asphalt Co. and later became a plant operator for the company in Ann Arbor, Mich. They moved to Patton after his retirement in 1985.
He was a lifetime member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 324 AFL-CIO at Livonia, Mich.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Daniel Lee McMichael of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Kael Ross of Lansing, Mich.; three brothers, Donald McMichael and Merle McMichael, both of Hamburg, Mich., and Roy McMichael of Wylie, Texas; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel at Jackson.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel. The Msgr. Richard Rolwing will officiate with burial to follow at Lessley Ridge Cemetery.
