LEE MAYVILLE

EAST PRAIRIE -- Graveside services for Lee Mayville, 89, of East Prairie will be at 2 p.m. today at East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Richard Farquhar officiating.

Mr. Mayville died Saturday, Aug. 2, 1997, at the East Prairie Nursing Home.

He was born Nov. 25, 1907, in Morganfield, Ky., the son of Earl and Cynthia B. Mayville. In August 1954 he married Marjorie Lois Myers. She died Nov. 21, 1991.

He lived in Mississippi County most of his life.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include a daughter, Lorrie Christian of East Prairie; three grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, two brothers and a sister preceded him in death.

Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie is in charge of the arrangements.
