PUXICO -- Lee Brantley, 97, of Puxico, died Tuesday, Oct. 17, 1995, at Puxico Nursing Center.
He was born April 23, 1898, at McGee, son of Levi Louis and Virginia Stratman Brantley. He and Dorthy Campbell were married Jan. 15, 1933, in Walnut Ridge, Ark.
Brantley was a retired cotton, corn and livestock farmer. He was a member of Missouri Fox Hunters Association.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Sidney Brantley of Bridgeton; two daughters, Mary Thompson of Shook, Joyce Smith of St. Louis; nine grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son and two sisters.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico from 5-8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Lee Roy Hefner officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery at Shook.
